Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy

How does Hypnotherapy work

Hypnosis has existed for thousands of years. It’s a natural state of deep relaxation and focus that opens the subconscious mind to positive changes, allowing the desired transformation to begin.

Everyone experiences hypnosis throughout the day, especially between wakefulness and sleep. It can happen first thing in the morning, just before falling asleep, while driving and missing an exit, or when daydreaming.

Hypnotherapy is the practice of hypnosis that works by accessing the subconscious mind, which makes up about 88% of your mental activity. In a relaxed and focused state, the conscious mind steps back, allowing the subconscious mind to become more open to positive suggestions. By gently introducing helpful thoughts, ideas, or new ways of thinking, hypnosis helps these suggestions take root and influence your habits, emotions, and behaviors. It is a natural and pleasant way to develop positive habits, release negative patterns and limiting beliefs, and promote inner strength, self-growth, improved focus, and performance. Hypnotherapy can even be done remotely via phone or video chat, making it convenient and accessible no matter where you live.

What can hypnotherapy help with

Hypnotherapy can help with a wide range of personal and professional goals. It is often used to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and manage fears or phobias. It can support healthy habits, such as quitting smoking, weight management, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle, while also helping to release negative thinking or limiting beliefs. Hypnotherapy can boost motivation, improve focus and study habits, enhance confidence and self-esteem, and even support better sports performance. Many people use it to break unhelpful patterns, overcome mental blocks, and create positive changes in their everyday life. Essentially, almost any goal, whether personal, professional, or emotional, can be supported through hypnosis, helping you develop new positive habits and lasting change.

How Hypnosis Can Feel for You

During hypnosis, most people experience a deep sense of focus and awareness. Physical sensations can vary. Some describe feeling tingly, light, heavy, floating, very aware, or simply relaxed and comfortable. For many, hypnosis feels similar to a meditative state, while others may not notice any physical sensations at all. Throughout the session, you remain in complete control and aware of your surroundings, able to follow guidance or open your eyes at any time. After a session, nearly everyone reports feeling calm, peaceful, and deeply relaxed, often with a renewed sense of clarity and balance.
